Search engine optimisation commences with a site analysis to establish whether the products/services offered match the key words currently used, along with comprehensive key word review etc.

Review of the Site - Issues:

Prepare SEO Amendments to the Site:

	Utilising identified keyword phrases, we will then optimise existing content (minor edits), or generate new content (write new body-text copy) for primary keyword phrases on Home page.
	We write / rewrite Home Page meta-tags including Title & Description, Keyword.
	We provide items such as Bookmarks, Comment tags, Image Alt tags, Headers, First and Last Paragraphs, depending on the format and structure of the site.

Ditto for up to 5 internal pages, ensuring that those pages "support" the theme established in the Home page.

Review Link Issues:

	Review quantity/quality of incoming links
	Recommend a link building campaign
	Provide "link to us" page content

NB: Our presumption here is that you or your web designer will be "plugging in" the above material that we supply. If you prefer us to do it, we are happy to do this, but there will be a modest additional cost. We provide written advice regarding on-page and off-page issues, content, site structure etc. We may also be able to provide some incoming links to your site from sites we manage, if appropriate.

Linking: We will provide you with a comprehensive report on what the current best strategy to follow with future links, reciprocal links, 1-way links etc, and how to get the ones you need.

Approximately one month after SEO work is completed, we will run a second SE ranking report (using the previous key words) to assess the ranking gains from the completed SEO process.

Time Frames

This is dependent on how busy we are at the time we are commissioned;

• Usually we get link-building underway within 2 - 3 days, but we spread it out over 4 weeks so that it does not look too obviously like an orchestrated SEO campaign.

• We trickle in page amendments over 3 - 4 week period for the same reason

Overall, we have a goal of not changing too much, too quickly - we don't want the process to appear too much like an orchestrated SEO campaign. The results of our efforts usually start to appear within 4-6 weeks as new links to your site are found and credited to you. The full benefits of the work that we do will not become apparent for 10 – 12 weeks. The time delay is because it takes link submissions a while to filter through due to the speed (or lack thereof) with which some directories process backlogs.  Then, the search engines must find and index those links, and eventually add them to your incoming link score card.
